Casimir effect

The Casimir Effect is a scientific phenomenon that happens when two metal plates are placed very close together. When this happens, the space between the two plates is filled with a special type of energy called "vacuum energy." This vacuum energy makes the plates push against each other, causing them to stick together. It's like the two plates are hugging each other! Scientists are still trying to figure out why this happens, and how it could help us in the future.
