Casualty Clearing Station

A casualty clearing station is a special place where doctors and nurses take care of people who are hurt or sick because of a war or battle. It is like a really big hospital in the middle of a war zone.

At a casualty clearing station, doctors and nurses work really hard to make sure that the people who are hurt or sick get better. They have special equipment and medicine to help with this.

The people who are hurt or sick are called casualties. They are taken to the casualty clearing station by special vehicles called ambulances. The doctors and nurses then take care of them by giving them medicine and making sure they have things like bandages and splints to help them heal.

Sometimes, if the casualty clearing station is too full or if the person's injuries are really bad, they will be sent to a bigger hospital for more help. But the doctors and nurses at the casualty clearing station work hard to make sure that everyone who comes to them gets the best care they can provide.
