Catholic Church and deism

Okay kiddo, the Catholic Church is a group of people who believe in a certain religion called Catholicism. They believe in God and Jesus and follow certain rules and teachings.

Now, Deism is a different belief system where people believe in God, but they think that God created the world and then pretty much stepped back and let things happen on their own. They don't believe in miracles or that God is still actively involved in the world.

So, some people who follow the Catholic Church might believe in Deism too, but it's not really part of their official teaching. The Catholic Church believes in a more hands-on God who is still involved in the world and performs miracles. But everyone has their own beliefs and can choose what they want to believe in.
