ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Catholic Earthcare Australia

Catholic Earthcare Australia is a group of people who love and care for the Earth, just like how you love and care for your toys or pets. They are part of the Catholic Church, which is a big group of people who believe in Jesus and try to follow his teachings.

Catholic Earthcare Australia wants to help people understand that taking care of the Earth is really important because it's where we live and where all the animals and plants live too. They teach everyone how to use the things we have on Earth, like water and trees, in a way that won't hurt the Earth or make it sick.

They also help people understand that we need to make changes in the way we live to help protect the Earth. For example, instead of throwing things away, we can recycle them or give them to someone else who needs them. They also talk to people who make laws and rules, to try and persuade them to make laws that keep the Earth safe.

Catholic Earthcare Australia wants everyone to work together to care for the Earth, just like how we work together to play games or clean up our rooms. Because when we take care of the Earth, it can keep taking care of us too!
