Cave of Forgotten Dreams

Okay kiddo, do you know what a cave is? It's like a big hole in the ground that you can go into, and sometimes people find really old things in them.

The Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a special cave that was found in France. It's very old, over 30,000 years old! That's older than your great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents!

Inside the cave, there are pictures on the walls that were drawn by people a long, long time ago. They used to draw with things like charcoal and ochre, which are kind of like crayons. The drawings are of all kinds of animals, like horses, lions, and bison.

The reason this cave is so special is that it was sealed up for a really long time, so the drawings have been well preserved. That means they still look almost as good as when they were first drawn!

The Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a really cool place to learn about history and see what people were drawing so long ago. But because it is so old and fragile, not a lot of people get to go inside and see it for themselves.
