Cellular adaptation

Cellular adaptation is when a cell changes in order to be better suited for the environment it lives in. For example, if a cell is living in a place that is really cold, it might produce more of an anti-freeze protein to help it survive. This adaptation helps the cell to survive in the cold and can help it to live for a longer time.
