The Center for Labor and Community Research is a place where experts work to figure out ways to help people in the community get good jobs and a better quality of life. For example, they might research what type of jobs are available, look at ways to train people so they can get those jobs, or help people get health insurance or other benefits. They also might talk to employers to figure out what kind of people they’re looking for and how to make sure workers have the right skills. All these activities help people find the right job and earn a good living.
