The Center for Tropical Forest Science is a group of scientists who study really big areas of land with lots of trees and plants in really warm and humid parts of the world. They want to learn about how all the different types of plants and animals in these areas live together and how they are changing over time. They use special tools and equipment to count and measure all the plants and animals, and they take notes on what they find. By studying these forests, they hope to learn how to protect them and make them healthier for all the living things that call them home.
