Ceramic art is when artists use a special type of clay to make pretty things, like bowls, vases, and sculptures. The clay is soft at first, so the artist can shape it however they want. Then, the artist lets the clay dry out in the sun or in a special oven called a kiln. When the clay is heated up really hot, it becomes hard like a rock and will keep the shape the artist made. After that, the artist can paint the ceramic piece with different colors to make it even more beautiful! People have been making ceramic art for thousands of years and you can find it all over the world. It's a really cool way to make art and create things that people can use in their homes.
