Ceremonial first puck

So, when people play ice hockey, they use a little black flat thing called a puck. Before the game starts, someone special gets to throw the first puck onto the ice. This person might be a famous hockey player, a special guest, or even a kid who won a contest. It’s a really exciting moment because it’s like the official start of the game! Sometimes the first puck is thrown to honor someone or for a special reason, and everyone cheers and claps when it happens. It’s kind of like when you blow out the candles on your birthday cake - it’s a really special moment that everyone wants to be a part of!
