Chain whip

A chain whip is a long stick with a chain attached to the end. Like a big, long tail! It's used by people who work on bikes or motorcycles to take off the gears or cogs (those are the round, spikey parts) from the wheel.

The chain whip is really helpful because it helps make it easier to loosen tight bolts. By winding the chain around the cog and then using the handle to turn the whip in the opposite direction, it creates a strong force that can loosen even the toughest nuts and bolts.
