When he was a teenager, he started a trip to some sacred places in India to learn more about spiritual things.

Eventually, Chaitanya started spreading the word about bhakti-yoga, and people just loved listening to him. People admired him so much because he always had a smile on his face and was really, really kind to everyone he met. He always wanted to help people live better lives and even encouraged them to sing and dance with him in the streets! Wow, how fun!

Lots and lots of people became really devoted to Chaitanya and followed his teachings, and he had a big impact on how people in India practiced their religion. Even today, people still study his teachings and remember what a wise and loving person he was.
