ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Change of rings

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with stacking rings? You know, the ones where you can put one on top of the other and make a tower? Well, that's kind of like changing rings.

When someone gets married, they get a special ring called a wedding ring. It's a pretty ring that they wear on their finger to show that they love and are committed to their spouse. But sometimes, people might want to change that ring. Maybe it doesn't fit well anymore or maybe they just want a different design or material. So, just like with the stacking rings, they take off the old wedding ring and put on a new one.

But changing rings isn't just about taking off one ring and putting on another. It can be a big decision and sometimes even emotional for people. It's important to think carefully about why you want to change your ring and what it means to you.

And that's about it, kiddo. Changing rings is kind of like changing clothes, but instead of changing what you wear, you're changing what you put on your finger to show your love and commitment to someone special.
