ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Changpa

Changpas are a special group of people who live in the high mountainous areas of Ladakh, which is a region in Northern India. They live in very cold and remote places which can be very difficult to get to.

Changpas are known for their traditional way of life as they still rely on their herds of yaks, goats, and sheep for their livelihoods. They make their own clothing and homes using the natural resources around them.

The Changpas are very skilled at adapting to their environment - this means they know how to survive in harsh weather conditions and how to protect themselves from predators like snow leopards. They also have their own unique traditions and culture that are different from those of other groups of people who live in different parts of India.

Even though they live in a very remote and difficult place, the Changpas are proud of their heritage and continue to maintain their way of life.
