ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Charity evaluator

Evaluating charities (also known as charity evaluators) is like checking a restaurant before you eat there. You want to make sure the restaurant is clean, the food is safe to eat, and the prices are fair. It's the same with charities – you want to make sure the charity is doing what it should be doing, with the money they receive. Charity evaluators check that the charity is doing what it said it would do, with the money it has received, and that it's using the money in the best way. They look at reports from the charity, and rate it on how well it's doing.
