Charles Gide

Charles Gide was a French economist and political scientist who studied many aspects of economics and politics. He is most famous for his writing on how economic systems affect the societies they are part of. He argued that all economic systems are based on how people create and exchange value, and that one type of economic system (like capitalism) will always be more successful than another (like socialism). Gide also believed that government should be involved with economic systems to make sure there is enough freedom and equality for everyone to have a fair chance of succeeding.
