Charles Prendergast

Charles Prendergast was a man who lived a long time ago and was famous for making art. He was the older brother of another famous artist named Maurice Prendergast. Charles liked to make art using wood and then carving it into pretty shapes and designs. He would then paint the wood and make it look even more beautiful. People really liked his art because it was very unique and different from what other artists were making at the time. Even though Charles passed away a long time ago, people still talk about him and his art and some of it is even in museums where people can go and see it.
