Charter of Medina

The Charter of Medina was like a big agreement that was made a long time ago in the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia. It's kind of like when you make a promise with your friends or family about how you're all going to treat each other fairly and nicely. This agreement was made between the people who lived in Medina, and a man named Muhammad who was a religious leader.

The Charter of Medina said that all of the people in Medina would be treated the same and would have the same rights. It didn't matter if they were rich or poor, or what religion they believed in. Everyone was promised to be treated with kindness, respect, and fairness. Muhammad even made sure that the Jewish people who lived in Medina were included in the agreement and treated equally, which was really important for them.

It also said that if anyone was attacked, everyone in Medina would come together to help protect them. That means if someone was in trouble, everybody would help out to keep them safe.

The Charter of Medina was a really important agreement because it showed that people with different beliefs and backgrounds could come together and live in peace. It was like a big promise to treat each other nicely and have each other's back no matter what, and that's something we should all try to do too!
