Chartered architect
A chartered architect is like a grown-up who is really, really good at making drawings and plans for really big and important buildings, like houses, schools, and skyscrapers.
Just like when you learn how to draw, architects have to learn how to draw really well, but they also have to learn how to use lots of special tools and technology to make sure their drawings are very precise and accurate. They also have to learn how to think about lots of different things, like what materials the building will be made out of and how the building will be used.
Once an architect learns all of these things, they can become a chartered architect. This means that they are really good at what they do, and they belong to a special group of architects who work together to make sure that all the buildings they design are safe and useful for the people who use them. In fact, having a chartered architect is very important because it means that the building will be well planned, well designed, and well built, so that everybody who uses it will be happy and safe.
