ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Charvaka

Charvaka is an ancient Indian philosophy which teaches that we should try to enjoy life and not worry too much about trying to figure out why good and bad things happen - we just have to accept them. It says that we should focus on living life in the present moment. Charvaka also criticizes religious beliefs, saying that there is no proof of anything beyond what we can see and experience in this world, and so it does not believe in gods or karma. In a way, it encourages us to just enjoy life and not worry too much about what might happen in the future.
