Chemical field-effect transistor

A chemical field-effect transistor is a type of transistor that is used to control and measure the flow of electricity and signals in a circuit. It works by controlling how much charge (electricity) is allowed to move through a certain material. Imagine a gate that can be opened and closed to control how much water flows in a pipe. A chemical field-effect transistor is like that gate — it can be used to let just the right amount of electricity flow through a material.
