China Airlines Flight 140

China Airlines Flight 140 was a plane that crashed in 1994 in Japan. It was carrying people from Taipei, Taiwan to Nagoya, Japan. Sadly, a lot of people died in the crash.

Before the plane took off, some workers made a mistake by not fixing a part of the plane called the rudder. The rudder helps the pilot steer the plane. Because the rudder wasn't working well, the pilot had trouble controlling the plane when it was going to land.

The pilot tried to fix the rudder while the plane was in the air. But something went wrong and the plane started going down really fast. The pilot tried to save the plane, but it hit the ground too hard and too fast. Lots of people were hurt or killed.

After the crash, investigators found out that the workers who didn't fix the rudder did something very bad. They didn't follow the rules, and they lied about it. Because of their mistake and their lying, the plane crashed and people were hurt.

It's always important to follow the rules and be honest, especially when people's lives are at risk. That's why we have rules and safety measures to make sure things like this don't happen again.
