China Airlines Flight 204
China Airlines is a big airplane company that flies planes all around the world. One time, they had a special big plane called a Boeing 747 that was flying from Taipei in Taiwan to Los Angeles in the United States. This big plane had lots of passengers and crew members, kind of like how you have friends and family when you go on a big trip.
But then something went wrong on the flight. A big storm called a typhoon was coming and the plane had to land quickly in a place called San Francisco. During the landing, the plane hit some things on the runway really hard and bounced up into the air again. It was like when you try to catch a ball but it hits your hands really hard and you can't hold onto it.
The plane then crashed into some things on the runway and parts of it broke off. Some people got hurt and some people were very scared. But the crew members worked very hard to make sure everyone was ok and they all got off the plane safely.
Afterward, lots of people investigated what happened and found out that lots of things went wrong on the flight. The crew members didn't understand what was going on and the plane didn't work properly.
