Chinese Ophthalmology

Chinese Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine that deals with the eyes and vision. It starts by looking at the eyes and seeing if there is a problem such as near-sightedness (the ability to see things close up, but not far away), far-sightedness (the ability to see things far away, but not close up) or other problems. Chinese Ophthalmologists use special equipment to examine the eyes and identify any eye problems. They also look at the medical history of the patient to see if there have been any problems with the eyes before. Chinese Ophthalmologists might give special glasses or contact lenses to a patient to help them see better. They might also do surgery, if needed to help the patient see better.
