Chip creep

Have you ever played with a toy car that has a loose wheel that keeps falling off? That's kind of like what happens with something called "chip creep."

"Chip creep" happens when a little computer chip in something like your phone or computer starts wiggling around in its slot. This can happen from things like bumps, shakes, or changes in temperature.

When the chip moves around too much, it can start to have problems doing its job properly. Just like a loose wheel on a toy car can make the car move weirdly, a wiggly computer chip can make your device act strangely too.

To fix "chip creep," you usually just need to take the device apart and make sure the chip is securely in place in its slot. And then everything will work smoothly again, just like when you tighten the wheel on a toy car!
