Chivruay Pass incident
Alright kiddo, so there's this place called Chivruay Pass, which is a really high and steep mountain road that connects two places. One day, a group of soldiers were going through that pass when suddenly there was a big avalanche!
An avalanche is when a whole lot of snow and ice come sliding down the mountain really fast, like a big wave. So the avalanche covered the road and the soldiers were stuck, with no way to go forward or backwards.
The soldiers called for help, and a rescue team came to try and save them. But when the rescuers got there, they too got caught in the avalanche!
So then, another team came to try and rescue everyone, but unfortunately they couldn't save everyone in time. Some of the soldiers and rescuers died because of the avalanche.
It was a really sad and scary incident, but it reminds us of how dangerous nature can be, and why we always need to take precautions and be careful in the mountains.
