ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Choosing the Common Good

Choosing the common good means deciding to do something that will benefit the most people. It means that rather than doing something that will just help one person, you choose to focus your efforts on something that could help a lot of people. For example, you might volunteer at a food pantry to help stock shelves and hand out produce. That way, everyone in the neighborhood who needs food can get it without having to worry about going hungry.
