ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Chord (geometry)

A chord in geometry is like a straight line that connects two points on a circle. It's similar to drawing a line from one dot to another dot, but the dots are on the edge of a circle. Imagine drawing a circle on a piece of paper with a marker. Then you take your pencil and draw a straight line from one point on the circle to another. That's a chord!
