ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Christian drama

Christian drama is when people act out stories from the Bible in a play or a skit. Imagine you are playing pretend with your friends and you decide to act out a story from a book. That's what Christian drama is, but it is usually done with more people and in front of an audience.

The stories they act out could be about anything from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, to Jesus healing people and performing miracles. The people who act out the stories are usually volunteers from the church who want to share the message of the Bible.

The plays or skits can be serious or funny, but they are always meant to teach a lesson that comes from the Bible. The people watching the play can learn important things like how to be kind to others, how to forgive people, or how to love God.

Overall, Christian drama is a fun and interactive way for people to learn about the Bible and connect with their faith, just like how you might play pretend with your friends to learn new things and have fun.
