Christian Identity is a belief system held by some people who follow a religion called Christianity. It is based on the idea that people of European descent are the true descendants of the ancient Israelites described in the Bible. This means that Christians of European descent are "chosen" by God to be part of a special group or family. They think that all other people are not part of this group and aren't "chosen" by God. Christians of European descent often see themselves as the spiritual, physical, and cultural heirs of ancient Israel. This means that they think that all the laws, beliefs, and values of the ancient Israelites should be followed. Because of this, Christian Identity followers are not like many other Christians. They reject many of the beliefs and values that most other Christians have.
