Chronic Solvent-Induced Encephalopathy is a type of brain disorder. It happens when someone breathes in chemicals (like paint) or is exposed to certain kinds of solvents (like cleaning products) for a long time. These chemicals and solvents can damage the brain, which causes problems with mood, behavior, thinking, and movement. These changes can be mild and hard to notice, or so severe that it becomes hard for the person to do everyday things.
