Okay kiddo, so you know how some people are really good and kind, and they live their whole lives helping others and doing good things? Well, some of them become saints after they die. And in the 11th century, which was a really long time ago, a lot of these good people were recognized as saints and blesseds.
A chronological list means that we're going to put them in order from the earliest to the latest. So let's get started!
First, we have Saint Bruno of Querfurt, who lived from 974-1009. He was a missionary who went to try and spread the Christian faith to people who had never heard of it before.
Next up is Saint Willibrord, who lived from 658-739. He was a missionary too, and he went to the Netherlands to spread the Christian faith there.
Then we have Saint Emeric, who lived from 1007-1031. He was a prince who did a lot of good things in his life, but unfortunately he died when he was still very young.
Saint Germaine Cousin is another blessed who lived in the 11th century. She was born in 1579 and died when she was only 22 years old. She was known for her devotion to God and her kindness to others.
And finally, we have Saint Wulfstan of Worcester, who lived from 1008-1095. He was a bishop who did a lot of good things for his people, including helping the poor and improving the conditions for farming.
So kiddo, those are some of the saints and blesseds who lived in the 11th century. They all did very good things and are remembered for their kindness and devotion to God.
