Churches Militant, Penitent, and Triumphant

The Church Militant is the church currently living in the world, striving to live up to God's will and sharing with others God's love. The Church Penitent is the church that is sorry for its sins and turning to God for pardon and forgiveness. The Church Triumphant is the Church in Heaven, with God and all the Saints and Angels, rejoicing in God's goodness and grace forever.
