Chytridiomycosis is a disease that affects amphibians, like frogs, toads and salamanders. The disease is caused by a type of fungus called Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. This fungus attacks a frog's skin and causes it to become weak and unable to breath properly. In extreme cases, it can even kill them. Scientists are trying to figure out ways to stop this disease and help the amphibians.
