Cigar etiquette

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen an adult smoking a cigar? Do you know that there are certain ways you have to act when you're smoking a cigar or when someone else is? That's what we call cigar etiquette.

So, when you smoke or are around someone smoking a cigar, you have to remember a few things. Firstly, you have to make sure you're in a place where it's okay to smoke. Usually, you'll find people smoking cigars outside, like on a balcony, in a courtyard or on a porch. But if someone tells you to put the cigar out or move to another location because it's not okay to smoke, you have to respect that.

Next, when you're smoking a cigar, you have to hold it properly. That means you hold it between your index finger and thumb, not like a cigarette. Make sure you don't squeeze it too hard but just hold it gently. You also have to make sure the smoke is not going in someone's face or towards anyone else.

When someone offers you a cigar, you should always say thank you, even if you don't want one. That's just good manners. You also have to wait for everyone to have their cigar before lighting your own. And when everyone is finished smoking, make sure you dispose of your cigar properly in an ashtray.

Lastly, it's important to remember to be respectful to the people around you. Don't talk too loudly or make too much noise so that others can enjoy their cigars too.

That's cigar etiquette in a nutshell, kiddo. Remember, always be polite, respectful, and follow the rules!
