Cinematic techniques

Cinematic techniques are like special tricks and tools movie makers use to make their movies look and feel a certain way.

For example, a movie maker might use special lighting to create a scary or moody atmosphere. Or they might use a special camera angle to show something from a certain perspective.

Another technique is called "cutting," which means changing quickly from one scene to another, to keep the story moving. The sounds that we hear in a movie are also an important technique - music, sound effects, and dialogue can all have different effects on how we feel about a movie.

So, cinematic techniques are basically the tools that movie makers use to help tell their story in the best way possible, so that we can enjoy it and be moved by it.
