Circuit design language

A circuit design language is a set of instructions used by engineers to create electrical circuits. The instructions tell computers how to assemble the various components that go into a circuit, such as switches, resistors, and transistors. Using these instructions, engineers can create small electronic modules that can be used for things like controlling the speed of a motor, controlling a lightbulb, or playing music.
