ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Circular shift

Okay, imagine you have a bunch of numbers in a line like this: 1 2 3 4 5. A circular shift is when you take the last number (5) and move it to the front, making the line look like this: 5 1 2 3 4. It's like you took the last number and put it in the beginning, but all the other numbers moved down one spot to make room.

You can also do circular shifts with letters or words too. It's like when you spell your name, but then move the last letter to the front to make a new word. For example, if your name is Sally, a circular shift would make it "ysall".

Circular shifts are like spinning a wheel around, but instead of moving everything around the wheel, you just move one thing to the front and everything else follows. It's a fun way to play with numbers and words!
