Circumcision of Jesus

Ok kiddo, so a long long time ago, there was a baby named Jesus who was born to a lady named Mary and a man named Joseph. Like all babies, Jesus needed to go through some special rituals to show that he was a part of his family's religion, which was called Judaism.

One of these rituals was a thing called circumcision. It involved snipping off a little bit of skin from the end of the baby boy's pee-pee. It sounds kinda scary, but it was a way for the baby to show that he was a member of his family's religion.

So, when Jesus was just a little baby, Mary and Joseph got him circumcised, just like all the other little Jewish boys of that time. They did it to show that Jesus was a part of their family's religion and to honor God.

And that's how baby Jesus got circumcised!
