City centre

A city centre is the middle part of a big town or city where lots of people go to do fun things like shop, eat, or see cool things. It's like the heart of a big city!

Just like how you have a heart in your body that pumps blood to all of your parts, the city centre is like a heart for your town or city because it's the place where lots of things happen and people come from all over to enjoy themselves there.

The city centre usually has tall buildings that are close together, lots of cars, buses and trains and lots of people walking around. Some of the really cool things you might see in the city centre are big parks, museums, theaters, shopping malls, famous buildings, and other exciting places to visit.

It's important to be extra careful when you visit the city centre because there are lots of people around and it can be very busy. Make sure to always hold an adult's hand when crossing the street and pay attention to where you are going.
