Civic heraldry

Civic heraldry is like a special kind of decoration for cities or towns. It's a way for cities and towns to have their own "coat of arms" or "flag" or "emblem". It might look like a picture, or like words and symbols in a special pattern. The picture or symbols usually represent something important to the city or town and are used to show pride in the place. Like a family crest, cities and towns show off their civic heraldry proudly!
