Classical Marxism

Classical Marxism is a way of looking at the world that was proposed by Karl Marx, a thinker from the 1800s. It is based on the idea that all of history is about a struggle between different classes of people. According to Marx, there are two main classes of people: the capitalists (also known as the rich people) and the working class. The capitalists own businesses and factories, and the working class is made up of people who work in those businesses and factories. Marx believed that the power and wealth of the capitalists kept the working class down and that this created unfairness in society. He argued that if the working class could organize together (like a big team) and be stronger, they could challenge the power of the capitalists and create a more equal and just society.
