ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Client-to-client protocol

A client-to-client protocol is a way for two computers or devices (clients) to talk to each other. It is like having two friends who want to talk to each other but don't have a phone or email account. In order for them to talk to each other, they need a special way for their two separate computers or devices to communicate. That special way is called a client-to-client protocol. The two devices can now talk directly to each other, and the conversation is private, meaning that no one else can listen in on their conversation.
