Clinical trials

Clinical trials are studies that are done to test if a medicine, treatment, or device is safe and helpful for people. Scientists do these trials to figure out if the new thing should be used to help treat people. Clinical trials are usually done on volunteers, which means people who choose to participate. During the trials, the volunteers will get one of the treatments being tested and their health will be checked. This helps the scientists see if the treatment is safe or helpful. The volunteers get their health checked during the trial to make sure the treatment does not hurt them.
