Clodomir Santos de Morais

Clodomir Santos de Morais was a Brazilian lawyer, politician and diplomat. He was born in 1914 and died in 1995. He studied law at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and served as the Minister of Justice, Foreign Affairs and Defense during the period of 1964-67. He was also the Ambassador of Brazil to the United Nations and the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights. He was a strong advocate of democracy and human rights, and he worked to end Brazil's military dictatorship in 1985. He was also a renowned leader in the fight for social justice, and helped bring many reforms to Brazil. Some of the reforms included a law that protected the environment, and another that banned inhumane working conditions. He was an important figure in Brazilian history and was an advocate for democracy and human rights.
