Cluster B personality disorders

Cluster B personality disorders are a type of mental health condition that can affect the way some people think, feel, and behave. There are four main types of Cluster B personality disorders: borderline personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder, and antisocial personality disorder.

Borderline personality disorder means that a person has a hard time regulating their emotions, which can lead to mood swings, impulsive behavior, and unstable relationships.

Narcissistic personality disorder means that a person has an inflated sense of self-importance and a need for constant admiration and attention from others.

Histrionic personality disorder means that a person has a desire to be the center of attention and is often overly dramatic or emotionally reactive.

Antisocial personality disorder, also known as sociopathy, means that a person may disregard the norms and values of society and engage in behaviors that are harmful to others.

People with Cluster B personality disorders may struggle with maintaining healthy relationships and may have difficulty controlling their emotions and behavior. It is important for these individuals to seek professional help from a mental health provider.
