Coastline of New Zealand

New Zealand is an island nation that is surrounded by water on all sides. The land that meets the water is called the coastline. The coastline of New Zealand is very special because it is very long and has many different shapes and sizes.

Just like the edge of a puzzle piece, the coastline is very bumpy and has lots of curves and corners. Some parts of the coastline are very straight and smooth, like a ruler. Other parts are wavy and jagged, like a broken piece of spaghetti.

The coastline is special because it is where the land and the sea meet. This is where you can see the waves crashing onto the shore, and where you can find all kinds of animals that live in the water and on the land.

New Zealand's coastline is also very important to the people who live there, because it provides many opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming. It is also a great place to explore and have fun!
