Code talkers

Code talkers were people during World War II who used special languages (called codes) to send secret messages to help the military win battles. These Codes were usually based on Native American languages like Choctaw and Navajo, so they were very hard for the enemy to figure out. Code talkers would go out into battle and talk in these secret codes over radios, so their messages could not be understood by the enemy. This allowed the military to send important information without their plans falling into the wrong hands.
