ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Codebase

A codebase is all of the files and code used to create a computer program. Think of it like a house. A house has many different parts, like walls, windows, a roof, and furniture, that all come together to make it a place you can live in. A codebase is like that too, but instead of walls and windows, it has computer code and documentation that all come together to make a program.
