Coding gain

Coding gain is like building a really strong fort out of Legos. When you build a fort out of Legos, you have to make sure all the tiny pieces are put together perfectly so that it doesn't fall apart. That's kind of like how coding works.

When people make things like movies or music, they often use a lot of computer code to make it sound or look really good. But sometimes, when they try to send that code over the internet or through the airwaves, some of it gets lost or mixed up along the way. It's like if some of the Legos of your fort got lost between your house and your friend's house.

Coding gain is like making your fort super strong so that even if some of the Legos get lost, it still stays together. In coding, it means making sure the code is really good at fixing any problems that come up during transmission, so that the final product still looks and sounds really good when it gets to the other side.

So, coding gain is like building a super strong fort out of Legos to make sure your movie or music gets sent properly and looks and sounds great when it gets to the other side.
